Terms of Use

These terms cover the Nomad iOS app, made by OrchardSkyDigital. Using the app means you accept them. Nomad is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's standard licensed-application terms apply as well.
1. The service
Nomad is a road-trip planner with an optional paid subscription, Nomad Premium, which unlocks the AI trip planner. Features may be added, changed, or retired; anything that changes what the app sends off your phone ships with an updated privacy policy.
2. Routes and travel times are estimates — verify before you travel
Itineraries from the AI planner are generated by AI and can be wrong: places may be closed, seasonal, misplaced, or gone. Travel times are estimates. Road conditions, closures, and weather change constantly. Always verify routes, conditions, and hours from official sources before and during a trip, and drive according to actual conditions. Nomad is a planning aid, not a navigation or safety system.
3. Subscription
Nomad Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed through your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. The AI planner has fair-use daily limits, which may change.
4. The leaderboard
Distances are computed server-side from trips you record. Attempting to falsify distances (for example, simulated locations) may result in removal from the leaderboard.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the AI planner or attempt to bypass its limits, and don't use the app to infringe anyone else's rights. We may suspend planner access for abuse; route planning and trips are unaffected by any such suspension.
6. Warranty disclaimer
Nomad is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that AI-generated plans will be accurate, complete, or safe to follow without verification.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OrchardSkyDigital is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including reliance on generated itineraries, travel times, or place information.
8. Termination
You can stop using Nomad at any time by deleting the app and your account. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through Apple.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version is published here and the effective date above moves.
