Terms of Use

1. The short version

• Teal plays spoken affirmations. It is not therapy, medical care or an emergency service.
• Teal works for free. Teal Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, yearly or monthly, bought through Apple or Google, and you cancel it in your store settings.
• With a free trial, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and we remind you the day before.

2. The service

Teal plays affirmations out loud as mixes, with pauses and ambience you can adjust, and lets you build mixes of your own. Features may be added, changed or retired. Anything that changes what leaves your phone ships with an updated privacy policy.

3. Teal is not therapy, care or an emergency service

Affirmations are words to listen to, not advice. Teal is not therapy, not medical or psychological care, and not a diagnosis or treatment, and it does not promise any outcome.

If you are in danger, or thinking of harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.

4. Your account

Teal works without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping its sign-in details private and for what is done with it.

5. Teal Premium

Teal works without paying. Teal Premium adds every voice, every Teal mix and affirmation, unlimited mixes of your own, and more affirmations per mix.

Premium is offered as a yearly plan and a monthly plan. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy. New subscribers may be offered a free trial on the yearly plan: nothing is charged until the trial ends, and the yearly price is charged then unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If your phone allows notifications, Teal reminds you the day before.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.

If Premium ends, nothing you made is deleted. Premium voices, Teal mixes and anything above the free limits become unavailable until you subscribe again.

6. Content

The affirmations, recordings, voices, ambience and artwork in Teal belong to us or our licensors. You may use them through the app for your own personal, non-commercial listening. Please do not copy, extract, resell or redistribute them.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the app or its services, to get around the free limits or the store's purchase checks, or to use Teal beyond ordinary personal use.

8. Warranty disclaimer

Teal is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or available at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OrchardSkyDigital is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Without an account, your library is stored only on your phone and is not backed up by us.

10. Termination

You can stop using Teal at any time by deleting the app. To delete your account and everything stored with it, use Delete account in Profile. We may suspend access where these terms are broken.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page changes with it, and the effective date above changes too.
